22 random things about me:
1. I love Jesus.
2. Red gerber daisies, sea shells, Lucky Brand Jeans, Chick-fil-a sandwiches with extra pickles and Polynesian sauce, boiled peanuts, blue fingernail polish, sewing, and gardening are just a few of my favorite things.
3. Hank and I will have been married 18 years in September 2017. Although we took a few "breaks" along the way, we dated for 6 years before we got married. That means that we have been together for over half of our lives!
4. My favorite Bible verse during this season of my life is Psalms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God."
5. I once auditioned to be a character at Disney World. I wanted to be Minnie Mouse or Cinderella. I didn't get very far in the audition process- the judges cited "lack of coordination." They were correct in their assessment. I am completely and hopelessly uncoordinated. A few years later, I did win a hula hoop contest at Disney's Pleasure Island. It was a very proud moment.

7. I cry at weddings and while watching the Summer Olympics and when I see dolphins,and at every school performance that my children are a part of.
8. I wish that I were a runner.
9. I have a strong desire to make a big difference in this world. At times, I feel very overwhelmed by the great need and become complacent. But someone once told me that "A small light can do a great deal in a very dark place". I want to be that small light.
10. I have always had dogs as pets. My parents allowed us to bring in every stray that we found. I once owned a three-legged blind poodle mix named Holly. Aside from Turbo, she was the best dog that I ever had.
11. I just started taking piano lessons. After my second lesson, I can already play a moving rendition of Jingle Bells.
12. If I ever have the chance to go back to school, I would love to get my masters degree in Social Work.
13. I once worked at Sea World and dreamed of becoming a whale trainer.
14. I own every Strawberry Shortcake doll that was ever made. They are each individually sealed in plastic bags along with their animals and all their accessories. ;0)
15. I jump when I dance.
16. I am very passionate about foreign missions and hope to share that passion with my children.
17. I am a morning person.
18. I am the Zac Brown Bands' 2nd biggest fan. My sister-in-law Annie claims the title of "1st biggest fan". I have to give it to her since Zac wrote a song about her on his latest album- Sweet Annie.
19. My favorite scent is gardenia.
20. My favorite meal is fried shrimp, hush puppies and cheese grits and I believe that all of those things will be on the menu in heaven.
